Flocabulary

Pearson has partnered with Flocabulary to bring "The Week in Rap: Current Events Through Hip-Hop" to OLE. The Week in Rap brings a unique voice and perspective to each week's major news stories and will be a dynamic supplement to any social studies, history, or humanities curriculum at grades 6-12. Each Week in Rap is provided as an all-inclusive activity in which the hip-hop video, interactive lyrics, and assessments are in one place, but this content can also be saved to your OLE library as individual assets. Try out the sample content on this page for a test run.

Founded in 2004, Flocabulary, an online learning platform that delivers educational hip-hop songs and videos to students, is now used in over 15,000 schools and reaches a weekly audience of 5 million students. Flocabulary's award-winning songs, videos, and accompanying lessons and activities are proven to engage students and raise scores on state reading tests.
